Gist of the Judgement 

     The honorable High court has directed the 2nd respondent, ie the Govt of Kerala to implement the 9th payrevision expeditiously and in accordance with law, at any rate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of the Judgment.

IHRD Pension Scheme Status

The committee for the implementation of pension scheme in IHRD met on 9.10.2013. Government vide letter No: 46234/J1/H.Edn dated 2.7.2013 have instructed IHRD to submmit a report after having a comparative study with other institutions which had implemented pension scheme.
Hence the committee have to do a comparative study for submitting this report.

As per the information available with IHRD Staff Union,

For higher level interventions, the staff pattern file is being sent to Education Minister's office. After obtaining minister's remarks, the file shall be sent to finance for approval. After the same is sanctioned, pay revision file will be processed.

The Finance department (govt of kerala) demanded remarks of DTE as to whether the number of posts mentioned in the proposed staff pattern(suggested by IHRD) is in par with govt colleges.The same has been furnished by DTE and this letter has reached the higher education department for onward transmission to fin. Favourable orders from finance section in this regard is expected.
